The challenge Creative Instinct was tasked with was to create the first expansions for Joyride Studios’ trading card game product Fullmetal Alchemist. “Blood & Water”, “Artificial Human” and “A Hero’s Passing” were inspired by specific Fullmetal Alchemist anime episodes that can be seen on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

The key elements from the FMA episodes were incorporated into the design of the logos. Creative Instinct “executed” the new logo designs for “Blood & Water”, “Artificial Human” & “A Hero’s Passing”, the expansion sets to the Fullmetal Alchemist trading card game.
